How the recursive search works
Browsers let a web page read the entire folder entry that was dropped in, including its subfolders. The tool walks down that structure level by level, collecting image files it encounters at each level; non-image files (documentation, thumbnail caches) are automatically skipped rather than mistakenly treated as images.
The ZIP download keeps the original structure
Clicking "download all as ZIP" after batch processing organizes the compressed files by their original folder hierarchy rather than flattening everything into one pile — which matters for anyone who already organizes source material by folder (by project, by date), since the extracted result can drop straight back into the original directory layout.
